Belvedere Palace
Belvedere, which is actually two separate palaces with a large park between them, was built in the 1700's as a summer residence. Francis Ferdinand, heir to the Austrian throne, was living at Belvedere when he and his wife made a visit to Sarajevo, Bosnia, where he was assasinated in 1914. Austria declared war on Serbia, and it escalated into WW I.
