Birkenau

Largely destroyed by the retreating Nazis, Birkenau had more than 300 barracks.

Birkenau was the largest Nazi concentration camp, and was part of the Auschwitz-Birkenau complex that included about 40 smaller camps as well.  It has not been rebuilt - most of Birenau is now open fields - but its enormous size is still apparent.  There are a few barracks remaining and they are open to the public.
