Kazimierz Dolny

Rita & Dana on Three Crosses' Mountain above the Kazimierz Parish Church.

On the return trip from Warsaw to Katowice, Edward took us to the village of Kazimierz on the bank of the Vistula south of Warsaw.  We visited the Parish Church which has the largest pipe organs in Poland.  On top of the hill beyond the church are three crosses commemorating the plague that wiped out most of the town in the early 1800's.

We walked around the town square, and then to the bank of the Vistula river where we had lunch before continuing our tour toward Katowice.
