These stair climber gizmos were busy carrying building materials around the villages of Cinque Terre where the paths were too steep and narrow for other vehicles, and where there were lots of stairs.

This BMW commuter motorcycle has a seatbelt, and a cage to protect the driver. The pictures were taken in Florence, but I saw this model in several cities.

The Twike is an electric tricycle, with propulsion provided by (optional) pedals and battery.   I saw it in Zurich, but check out this story by a US owner.

This motorhome, parked in Geneva, is the largest I saw on the trip.

A much more common sight is a small camping trailer. This one was parked in Roman's neighborhood in Wroclaw, Poland.

An old BMW motorcycle in Zurich.  It caught my attention because I once had a 1971 BMW R50.  This is an R75 from somewhere around that year, and it looks really familiar.
