Close Encounter With a Tree
In Boron I learned another RVing lesson: Don't have blind faith in the parking guide.
Many RV parks have someone who shows you to your site and directs you as you manuver into it. In Boron I followed the directions of the parking guide unquestioningly, even when she had me drive the truck so close to a tree that I had to pull in my left mirror to clear it.
To the obvious surprise of the parking guide the trailer ended up within inches of a tree limb, and for the duration of the visit every time I looked out the bathroom window I was startled to see the bark of a large tree within inches of the window.
