Death Valley Museum

The locomotive is from the Death Valley Railroad, long since gone.

This old letter press interested me because my father had a similar press in our basement for many years.

A manual ore crusher.  Ore goes in the top, the whole thing is rocked from side to side using the long handle, and a heavy roller inside does the crushing.

An old mine locomotive.  It is driven by a gasoline engine through an infinitely variable transmission.
