Common Cuckoo

I was walking along a road in Rajskie when I heard "cu koo" ... a  Cuckoo!   The first time I had ever heard one that wasn't in a clock.   Sure enough, Staszek confirmed that Cuckoos do live in Poland where they are called Kukulka. They lay their eggs in another bird's nest and let the other bird raise the kids.

I heard the Cuckoo, I didn't see it, so no picture.  The best I can do is this picture of a domestic Cuckoo; the little yellow dot near the center of the picture.
