The Prato School
The Pratts didn't go to school in Prato; their visits were always during summer vacation. But they did drop down to the Prato School's athletic field from time to time for some sport and exercise. I think this is where the boys - Dave especially - developed their enduring love for all outdoor sports. This is where Dave, John, and Joe became athletes.
And in the trees near the athletic fields is where they first saw the bird that is the favorite of all praters, the Collared Pratincole.
